DESCRIPTION:A-Day is the day the Corps of Cadets officially accepts the New Cadets into the Corps and they become Plebes. A-Day is highlighted with a full Corps parade on the Plain and is one of the favorites of parents. Following the parade\, the new Plebes are allowed walking privileges and can spend the weekend (not overnight) with friends and family. \nLook for us before the parade. This moment is both symbolic and binding—it reflects their dedication to the ideals of Duty\, Honor\, Country\, and their readiness to take on the responsibilities of military leadership. Gregory A. StoneA 1976 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point\, Colonel Gregory Stone served over 29 years in the U.S. Army as an Armor–Cavalry officer\, commanding at every level from platoon to brigade. His distinguished career included leadership roles in Operations Desert Shield\, Desert Storm\, and Joint Endeavor in Bosnia\, as well as key assignments at the Pentagon\, West Point\, and abroad.
