SUMMARY:March Back - Class of 2028
DESCRIPTION:One of the most exciting events of Cadet Basic Training for both New Cadets and parents is March Back. The culmination of Beast is the 12-mile march back from Lake Frederick. Old grads march alongside New Cadets\, and friends and family come out to line the roads of West Point to cheer on them on. It is exciting to finally have Beast behind them!

SUMMARY:A Day - Class of 2028
DESCRIPTION:A-Day is the day the Corps of Cadets officially accepts the New Cadets into the Corps and they become Plebes. A-Day is highlighted with a full Corps parade on the Plain and is one of the favorites of parents. This ceremony affirms your commitment to complete the next two years of study and your active-duty service requirements as a U.S. Army Officer. Once you’ve affirmed\, you incur an obligation to the nation to complete your service.

SUMMARY:Ring Weekend - Class of 2025
DESCRIPTION:A formal ceremony held on Trophy Point\, Firsties receive their much anticipated class ring. After the command to “Don Rings” and subsequent hugs and celebrations with family\, the Plebes will traditionally recite the “Ring Poop\,” encouraging the Firsties to show them their new rings. This can get aggressive\, with Plebes chasing Firsties around the barracks to pin them down\, and is a light-hearted event for all. \nPlan to arrive early in the afternoon on Friday to scout out your spot with picnic blankets and chairs. We recommend bringing a picnic basket along to enjoy while you wait for the parade of Firsties to make their way to Trophy Point for the ceremony.  This is definitely one of the best events and weekends for families to attend! \nYou can watch the Class of 2025 Ring Ceremony here.
